Mid-Atlantic Coastal Rowing is based in Wachapreague, a historic town of 250 residents on Virginia’s Atlantic coast. The town has historic neighborhoods, Bikable streets at your leisure and amazing bird-watching on the waterfront that features some of the last undeveloped wetlands on the mid-Atlantic seaboard.

The town also has a hotel, bed and breakfasts, sport-fishing and kayaking opportunities, art galleries featuring local artists, a friendly gourmet coffee shop, and waterfront dining at the Island House restaurant. Call for an eco-tourism boat ride to see dozens of bird, mammal and sea creatures, or tour the new campus of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science of the College of William and Mary situated between our boathouse and the water.
